King crab fishing...

Fishing for the huge king crab (kamsjatka crab) that we have in the Barents sea, right outside Kjøllefjord.

This crab can be up to 10-12 kg... scary...  : -)

Normal size is about 4-5 kg.

We go out with M/S Merkur our boat which is 15.meters long, and we fish for the crab with «teiner».

It's a big experience to take part in this fishing !

We can also dive after the King crab.

After fishing the crab, we can make a delicious meal...

We can fish the king crab all year long.
